Special Session Details

Session Title: Innovations, developments and challenges in intelligent systems and computing
Aim: The session aims to bring together current practices, advancements and innovations in intelligent systems using fuzzy logic, machine learning, deep learning, nature inspired algorithms and neural networks. The session is intended for authors from mathematics and computer science working on developing real-world intelligent applications.

Session Chairperson Details
Kiran Khatter has over 14 years of experience in academics and industry. She completed M.Tech from Punjabi University, Patiala and Ph.D from Himachal Pradesh University, Summer Hill, Shimla. Her Ph.D work was focussed on identification and quantification of non-functional requirements. Her research interests span analysis of software quality using fuzzy modelling, machine learning and nature inspired algorithms. She is a technology enthusiast and passionate about programming. That led her to earn Oracle Certified Java SE 6 Programmer license and become a corporate trainer for Java enabled technologies, Web Services and web scripting languages. She has also done training in SAP-ABAP programming and handled SAP-ABAP Projects.
Devanjali Relan received her PhD (2016) from the University of Edinburgh, UK in the field of retinal image processing and analysis. She also holds a Postgraduate (2011) degree in Advanced Medical Imaging from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, a Masters in Engineering (2006) in Control and Instrumentation from DCE (now DTU), University of Delhi, India and a Bachelor of Technology degree (2002) in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from the Kurukshetra University, India. She has accumulated almost a decade of varied instructional and teaching experience in various institutes in national capital region. Her research interests lie in the field of biomedical engineering, applied machine learning and its applications to medical imaging as well as biomedical data processing.
