Session Title: Emerging Trends in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning |
Aim: In the midst of the AI and ML revolution, the most significant decade of breakthroughs and trends will be driven by these disruptive yet revolutionary technologies. It has been predicted that the current decade of 2020 will change the course of human evolution. The effectiveness of AI in e-commerce, education, the automotive industry, navigation, healthcare, agriculture, and a long list of other fields has demonstrated the breadth of its potential applications. Machine learning is a subset of artificial intelligence, which is defined as the use of algorithms and processes that duplicate human functioning and cognition.

Dr.P. Sujatha received her Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2013, M.Phil in Computer Science in 2004, and Master of Computer Science in 1999. She qualified State Eligibility Test (SET) in 2016. She is working as Professor in the Department of Information Technology, School of Computing Sciences, Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies, Chennai. She has 23 years of teaching experience in both UG and PG Level. Six Ph.D Thesis and 7 M.Phil thesis are awarded under her guidance. Read More...

 | Dr. R. Parameswari earned her research Doctorate in Computer Science from St. Peter’s University, Chennai. She possesses more than 16 years of teaching experience. Her research area is Cloud Computing. She has published 55 research articles in refereed international journals for both Scopus and Peer Journals. She has presented 45 research papers in national and international conferences at reputed Universities / Institutions and also serving as the editorial member and reviewer for few national, international and Scopus Journals. She is a registered supervisor at VISTAS and guides doctoral research scholars. She has guided 4 M.Phil Scholars and currently guiding 8 Ph.D Scholars (Thesis Completed:06). |
 | Presently working as Associate Professor in Department of Computer Science, School of Computing, Vels Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies (VISTAS), Chennai. Over 12 years of experience in teaching computers at college level, 2 years 10 months of experience in the IT industry with complete life cycle implementation. Completed Ph.D( Computer Science) on Tamil based Speech Recognition in Bharathiar University on 2014.
50 research articles have been published in international journals including 2 in Web of Science , 18 in Scopus (5 IEEE) and 2 in Springer, 15 in UGC Approved Journals and 4 research articles has been submitted to international journals including Scopus Journals. |
