| Aim: The aim and scope of this special issue are to submit research work pertaining to application of data science and its implications in analytics. As we know data science is a growing area not only in IT Industry, but it finds application in the health care, defence sector as well such as drones, etc. The research papers on these growing trends and how analytics are applied to benefit the outcomes would be of Interest in this Issue. One can add Big Data perspective as well in context with data science and analytics as well as It also addresses related new scientific challenges, including data capture, generation, storage, retrieval, sharing, analysis, optimization, and visualization, as well as integrative analysis across multiple disciplines |

Prof. (Dr.) Laxmi Ahuja Ph.D(CSE) working as Professor in Amity Institute of Information Technology with the role ranging from Lecturer to Professor to Dy. Director of the Department with in a span of 21 years. in academics;Her areas of interest include Search Engine, Data Mining and Soft Computing Approaches; published more than 100 research papers in International and National Conferences and Journals in SCOPUS Impact Factor Journals like Springer, Elsevier,Inderscience and several others.  | Puneet Kumar Aggarwal completed his Ph.D. Degree from Amity University, Noida and M.Tech (IT) from CDAC, Noida. Having vast teaching experience of approx. 11 years. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor in Department of Information Technology of ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad. His area of research includes Software Engineering, Steganography, and Mobile Applications. He has published more than 20 research papers in reputed conferences and journals. |  | Parita Jain completed her Ph.D. Degree from Amity University, Noida and M.Tech (IT) from CDAC, Noida. Having vast teaching experience of approx. 11 years. Currently, she is working as Associate Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering of KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad. Her research area includes Soft Computing, Agile Methodologies, Software Engineering and Machine Learning. She has published more than 15 research papers in various international conferences and journals. |
